| Responsibilities | The laboratory of Dr. Ting-Ying Wu at the Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology (IPMB), Academia Sinica, invites applications for a full-time Research Assistant position. The laboratory is located on the main campus of Academia Sinica in Taipei, Taiwan. IPMB is home to nearly 300 researchers and staff members from Taiwan and more than 15 other countries. The institute provides state-of-the-art core facilities in cell biology, microscopy, high-performance computing, and multi-omics analysis, offering an excellent environment for interdisciplinary research. The successful candidate will participate in research on plant–environment interactions. Using plant systems including Marchantia, Arabidopsis, and potentially soybean, the project will investigate the physiological and molecular responses of plants to heat stress and environmental changes associated with global warming. The research will also explore how environmental changes affect circadian clock regulation in high-altitude crops. Primary responsibilities include molecular cloning, protein expression analysis, and mutant screening. This research project will be conducted in collaboration with the research groups of Dr. Ive De Smet and Dr. Devang Mehta in Belgium. |
