A former lab member, Ching-Ting Huang (黃敬廷), who is pursuing his doctoral study in the University of Georgia (UGA), came back to visit the lab. The special gift that celebrates UGA National Championship is much appreciated. Our lab PI Chih-Horng Kuo (郭志鴻) is a UGA alumnus.
[2022/12/05-07] Australasian Plant Virology Workshop (Melbourne, Australia)
The lab PI Chih-Horng Kuo (郭志鴻) attended this conference as an Invited Keynote Speaker to present our work on phytoplasma genomics. Chih-Horng also discussed potential collaborations with Dr. Fiona Constable (Research Leader) and Bianca Rodrigues Jardim (PhD student) from Agriculture Victoria, as well as met with several graduate students from Taiwan.

Extremely grateful for the phenomenal disease control in Taiwan that we can still have physical conferences amid the global coronavirus pandemic. Our entire lab went to Kaohsiung to attend this annual event that aims to promote microbiology research among young scientists. Really enjoy the cool science, the warm friendship, and the beautiful sunny beach.
