What kind of RNA quality is acceptable for submission?

You can determine RNA quality with a spectrophotometer under on absorbance wave lengths of 230, 260, 280 and 320nm. The (A260-A320) / (A230-A320) value should be more than 1.8 and (A260-A320) / (A280-A320) should be more than 1.9. We also recommend that you detect (if possible) the RNA integrity on Agilent Bioanalyzer. The criteria of Bioanalyzer is 28S peak > 18S peak, 28S/18S ratio ≥ 1.4 and 18S+28S total area percentage ≥ 40.
