線體之生合成

成熟粒線體中有42kDa actin or actin-like filament之存在,我們探討分離之粒線體及活體中之粒線體其actin之存在與作用機制。mt DNA、mitochondrial nucleoid和actin結合之意義及對粒線體生合成之影響。

高等植物子葉老化PCD之作用機制

綠豆子葉在種子發育過程中有明顯之Program Cell Death之現象。PCD開始時,粒線體之cytochrome c釋放至細胞質中,此時DNase被誘導而產生核DNA片段化之現象。當cytochrome c釋放之前,caspase 3之前驅酵素仍然存在,但當cytochrome c釋放後,核DNA片段化時,非但不見前驅酵素caspase 3之活化,甚至無法偵測得到caspase 3,這和動物系統中之作用機制不同,正在進一步探討中。
