Construction of the Agricultural Technology Building
December 22, 2006 marked the start of construction for the new Agricultural Technology Building. When completed at the end of 2008, the new building will contain sixteen new laboratories for IPMB and the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center. Our core facilities for bioinformatics, proteomics and metabolomics and cell biology will also relocate to the new building. This new building is adjacent to our present building and will be connected to it on several floors to allow easy movement between our present facility and the new building. This state-of-the-art facility will be a welcome enhancement to our research space.
Below are some snapshots of the construction progress. Please continue to check this site for future progress reports.
